AN ASSEMBLED SET OF THREE TAISHO PERIOD (1920S) RED AND GOLD LACQUER SAKE CUPS ON STAND. In three sizes, one decorated with a view of Mount Fuji, another with a mythical beast in landscape and the third with a phoenix, signed to base, within gilt rims, on a black and gold square section footed stand, 17cm square
The example with the mythical beast with some cracking around rim, minor wear throughout. The stand with a crack which travels partly across the top, some slight wear.
