FOUR EARLY 20TH CENTURY SINO-TIBETAN COTTON WALL HANGINGS. Each of rectangular and waisted rectangular form, applied with cowrie and other shells, amber, turquoise and coral beads, embossed amulets, coinage and mother-of-pearl buttons, suspended from an embroidered loop, issuing tassels, one with a lower pocket, 116cm long max.
Wear overall. One with noticeable losses to cowrie shells and coinage, this example is faded and badly moth eaten. Some losses to ornament overall, typical wear, fading and some areas of deterioration and moth damage overall. In need of professional cleaning and repair.
