A CHINESE EMBROIDERED SILK WAISTCOAT/VEST, A SKIRT AND ASSORTED EMBROIDERED FRAGMENTS AND PANELS, QING DYNASTY/EARLY 20TH CENTURY. The black silk ground waistcoat with floral silk edging and pale blue silk lining, a bright pink ground part skirt, with turquoise floral embroidery and cream fringing, together with a group of embroidered clothing fragments and panels
The waistcoat/vest with some tearing, wear and losses. The skirt (a part skirt fragment) possibly adapted, perhaps with fringing added, some staining. One ivory silk floral embroidered panel with slight staining, remaining fragments with wear, some loose threads and fading throughout.
