WMF Geislingen ornamental plate
circa 1900, unmarked, stamped ox on verso, Britannia metal silver-plated and oxidised, plate with octagonal faceted flag, in the mirror a portrait in relief of an art nouveau girl with flowing hair and flower tendrils surrounding her, reaching into the flag, tear on the rim with small dent, otherwise condition with signs of wear commensurate with age, D approx. 22 cm.
