Gartenszene mit verschiedenfarbigen Lupinen in kraftvoll leuchtender Farbigkeit, Mischtechnik (Aquarell und Gouache), um 1980, links unten signiert "M. Riedl", Blatt etwas wellig und knitterspurig, hinter Glas und Passepartout im Bilderträger, Passepartoutausschnitt ca. 92,5 x 57,5 cm.
Künstlerinfo: vogtländischer Maler und Grafiker (1924 Auerbach bis 1999 Auerbach), 1938-40 Lehre als Textilzeichner, 1940-42 Studium an der Kunst- und Fachschule für Textilindustrie Plauen, 1945-52 als Gardinenentwerfer, Reklame- und Schriftmaler tätig, 1952-57 Studium an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Dresden bei Prof. Erich Fraaß und Rudolf Bergander, ab 1957 Mitglied im Verband Bildender Künstler (VBK) der DDR, 1961-87 Dozent an der Fachschule für Angewandte Kunst Schneeberg, Quelle: Vollmer, Frank Weiß "Malerei im Vogtland", Eisold "Künstler in der DDR", Bütow "Europäisches Künstlerlexikon - Deutschland" und Internet.

Artist information: Vogtland painter and graphic artist (1924 Auerbach to 1999 Auerbach), 1938-40 apprenticeship as a textile draughtsman, 1940-42 studied at the Plauen art and technical school for the textile industry, 1945-52 worked as a curtain designer, advertising and lettering painter, 1952-57 studied at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts under Prof. Erich Fraaß and Rudolf Bergan.
