Frühe Madonnenfigurwohl Nordfrankreich, um 1450, Alabaster behauen, stehende Muttergottes im langen, weich fließenden Gewand, den Jesusknaben im Typus Hodegetria auf dem linken Arm haltend, dieser in sitzender Pose mit zum Herzen erhobener Rechten, Reste alter Farbfassung, Substanzverluste, Erhaltungsmängel, H 44 cm.
Early Madonna figureprobably Northern France, c. 1450, carved alabaster, standing Madonna in a long, softly flowing robe, holding the boy Jesus in the Hodegetria type on her left arm, the latter in a seated pose with his right hand raised to his heart, remains of old colouring, loss of substance, lack of preservation, h 44 cm.
