The following Lots 76 thru 85 all come from the same collection of a former FFL who relentlessly pursued examples of Remington's First Model Rifle. We are honored to offer not one, but ten examples for your consideration. Produced 1880-1888 this fine Remington Keene Rifle features a 24.5" rounded barrel, half stock, blade front sight, two position flip-up ladder rear sight with three “U” notches for sighting

Left side of receiver is marked “45 / 70”.
