Letter handwritten and signed by Gaon Rabbi Zecharya Stern, the “Zecher Yosef.”
Letter on family issues, written and signed by the Gaon. Written on both sides of the paper, crowded writing, more than 60 handwritten lines. The letter is damaged in two corners, with a little missing text. The rest is in good condition. Rabbi Yosef Zechariah Stern (1831-1904): a great Gaon, one of the great sages of Lithuania, and a posek of his generation. Rav in Jasionówka, and from 1861 in Šiauliai, Lithuania. Wrote the book of questions and answers “Zecher Yosef”
