[3], 14, 233 leaves. Two title pages. The first 14 leaves contain: Ayelet HaShachar (613 klalim … in the ways of dikduk and yesodot of speech). Stefanski Sifrei Yesod p. 13 (of the appendices).

The title page has notes of ownership of Rabbi Yitzak Isaac Segal (son of Rabbi Pinchas) Bilitzer, one of the greatest students of the Chatam Sofer and one who copied his speeches. He was Av Beit Din of Nodi-Ida for around 50 years. He wrote “Beer Yitzhak” on the Torah and moadim.

There is an additional note by his son, Rabbi Amram Yishay Segal Bilitzer, Av Beit Din of Szerencs, Hungary. He studied under his father and then Rabbi Meir Eisenstetter (the Maharam Esh). In 1854 he was appointed to the rabbinate of Szerencs and served there for 35 years, until his death in 1889.
