Rare! Beit Habchirah by the Me'iri on Masechet Avot - Early Edition Vienna, 1854 Handwritten Comments
Beit Habchirah, commentary on Pirkei Avot by Rabbi Shlomo Meir known as Rabbeinu the Me'iri, one of the Rishonim. "עם פתיחה גדולה כוללת סדר הקבלה מאדם הראשון עד אנשי כנסת הגדולה וסדר תנאים ואמוראים... ויחוס הרבנים.. עד זמן ה' אלפים וס' ליצירה".
Second edition with additions of the author's biography and books by Rabbi Shlomo Zalman ben Gotlieb Stern of Rechnitz - Vienna, 1854. XIV pp. 43 leaves. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection.
Ancient binding. One leaf of the biography is bound at its end. Minor stains. Healthy paper. Good overall condition.
On the title page, a stamp: "ה"ק מאיר צבי ווייס רב ומטיף דק"ק פעסט". Inside the book, many comments most of them in pencil and some in pen.
