Fine Copy with many Foreign Glosses! Nevi'im: Hoshe'a Yoel Amos Ovadya and Yonah with Commentaries - Separate, Rare Edition Paris or Geneva, 1556
On the title page: "הושע עם תרגום ופירוש רש"י ואבן עזרא ור' דוד קמחי... וקצת נימוקים על התרגום..." This notation appears also in Latin.
Special, separate edition, not part of a set. Robertus Stamius (Stephanus) Press - 1566, in the month of Adar according to the title page. According to the National Library, the place is printing is assumed to be Paris or Geneva. 243 leaves.
In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection.
Quality printing on healthy paper. Wide margins. Fine layout. On the title page - a fine engraving of the above printer's mark. In addition, every word at the beginning of each book is finely engraved. Stains. Professional restoration to the title page. later binding. Good overall condition.
On the margins of the sheets, many handwritten foreign glosses, some in dense yet unified script. Some of the glosses pertain, apparently, to grammar and diction rules.
