Likutei Amaraim Tanya, published by Kehat Brroklyn by the Tel Aviv-Jaffa branch, 1984. Three title pages. One verso of the second one, a foreword by the Rebbe from 1954. No Spine. Loose boards. Pocket format. Good overall condition.
On the flyleaf, a dedication to the Mekubal Rabbi Zerachya Halevi Segal by Yosef S.Y. Gerlitzki Chabad - Tel Aviv. The writer of the dedication, Rabbi Yosef Shmuel Yehoshua Gerlitzki (born in 1954) was the Rebbe's Shali'ach to Israel and his representative in Tel Aviv.
On verso of the binding, the receiver's short ownership notation: "לה"ו י. סג"ל מסלנט 30" ת"א" and a blurred stamp on the flyleaf.
Interesting, a greeting to the Rebbe!
Printed at the end of this Tanya is a sepcial blessing to the Rebbe:
"לג שנה לנשיאות כ"ק אדמו"ר שליט"א קרנו תרום בכבוד" ומהדף הנגדי: "מוקדש לזכות נשיא דורנו כ"ק... יה"ר שיחזק השי"ת בריאותו ויאריך ימיו ושנותיו בטובה ומתיקות... בהצלחה רבה ומופלגה בכח עניניו ופעולותיו הקדושים בכלל ובעשרת המבצעים בפרט, וינהג את כל ישראל בכלל ואת אנ"ש בפרט להצלחה מרובה מתוך נחת אמיתי...
The owner of this copy, Rabbi Yehuda Zerachya Mordechai Leib Chaim Halevi Segal (1924-2001), Mekubal and Rav of Kiryat Shalom, Tel Aviv, a descendant of the Shelah Hakadosh (see Hebrew catalog text).
