Carder Steuben Flemish Blue Reeded Parfait
Frederick Carder (English, 1863-1963) for Steuben Flemish blue reeded colorless optic glass parfait on Bristol yellow foot, likely shape no 3551, and with signature on bottom reading "Steuben / F. Carder." 5.75" H x 3.25" diameter (lip) Note: After his retirement, people sometimes brought unusual early pieces to Frederick Carder to authenticate, and which he would sign using an engraving tool. While these signatures are easy to forge, this example appears to be an authentic signature verifying an unusual and atypical example.
