A letter by Rav Meir Atlas, prominent Lithuanian rav in Libau, Salant, Kobryn and Shavai.He was one of the founders of the Yeshiva of Telz and the father in law of Rav Elchanan Wasserman and Rav Chaim Grodzinski. The letter was sent to Rav Josef David Shachor congratulating him to the appointment as Rav of the city of Siemiatycze
'ישמח הוא בהם והם ברבם אשר בחרו בו'.
In the letter he emphases the good relationship between the Kehila and the appointed Rav.
Written on official letter paper with blanc, in very good state.
