A fascinating letter by Rav Eliyahu Halevy Feinstein Pruzhaner as an answer to a Rav who asked his opinion whether to accept his nomination as a Rav of a certain town. In the letter he deals with the psychological reasons for asking opinions of others and explains a Mishna on the matter.
One page and two additional rows, in excellent state.
Rav Feinstein [1843-1929] was known as a genius since the age of 15. He was the Rav of Prosna for 45 years. His daughter was married to Rav Moshe Soloveichik and he himself took part in educating his grandson Rav Josef Dov Soloveichik of Boston.
