Bidspirit auction | Vintage Royal Doulton hand painted

Vintage Royal Doulton hand painted lidded tureen. This is one of two matching tureens in this auction (the other is Lot 23) - - The Lion & Crown mark with the ”A” logo was used from the 1930s to 1980. The printed back stamp on this one has almost completely worn away just leaving the apex of the ”A” logo showing (photo 3) For comparison I've included Lot 23's back stamp (photo 4)
