Manuscript of the Holy Rebbi Yaakov Aryeh of Radzymin – A Proven Segulah for Protection!

A special handwritten page, written on both sides by the holy hand of Rebbi Yaakov Aryeh of Radzymin, containing Torah insights from his sacred sefer Bikurei Aviv, discussing the theme of "Prayer Saves from Suffering."

Rebbi Yaakov Aryeh writes:

"...and certainly if he prays to Hashem and repents and prays to Hashem that he should not have suffering, Hashem, who is merciful and compassionate, will surely have mercy on him and he will be spared from suffering..."

This manuscript was traditionally regarded in Poland as a talisman for protection. A famous story tells of the *Imrei Emes* of Gur, who gave such a manuscript to his son, the Lev Simcha (who was married into the Radzymin lineage), as a protective amulet. When this manuscript was lost during the years of the Holocaust, the Lev Simcha made efforts to obtain another copy, emphasizing that his holy father had declared Rebbi Yaakov Aryeh’s handwriting as a *talisman and protection*.

Rebbi Yaakov Aryeh [Gutterman] of Radzymin (1792-1874) was one of the great tzaddikim of Poland. A disciple of many leading Chassidic masters, including the Kedushas Levi of Berdichev, the Maggid of Kozhnitz, and the Chozeh of Lublin, he was also part of the inner circle of the Yid HaKadosh of Peshischa and Rebbi Bunim of Peshischa. Additionally, he was strongly influenced by Rebbi Yitzchak of Vorki.

After the passing of the Rebbi of Vorki, Rebbi Yaakov Aryeh was asked by many to become a Rebbe. He was revered by all the tzaddikim of his generation and became famous for his miraculous deeds and wondrous blessings. The Rebbe of Peshischa testified that G-d fulfills all of Rebbi Yaakov Aryeh’s requests. His home became a beacon of hope for the Jews of Poland and beyond, and thousands were saved through his advice and blessings. Even the Chiddushei HaRim referred to himself by his mother's name when writing to Rebbi Yaakov Aryeh for a blessing. His works include Divrei Aviv and Bikurei Aviv.

Among his students was the Yismach Yisrael of Alexander, and among his grandchildren, named after him, are some of the greatest Rebbes of our generation, including the Rebbe of Gur and the Rebbe of Amshinov.

He passed away on the 18th of Tammuz, 1874.

1 page, very good condition.
