A Letter Requesting Aid and Rescue from the Son-in-Law of the Kedushat Yom Tov Zt''l – During the War Years!

A letter requesting aid and rescue from the holy Rabbi Chaim Meir Yechiel Horowitz of Dzhikov-Melitz Zt''l, sent from his residence during the holocast from the city of Seleușu Mare where he was martyred in sanctification of God's name!

"To the heads of the Ezras Torah organization in the United States, to come to my aid. 'And now I am a weak man, and my expenses are many... Please extend to me, generously and abundantly, in accordance with the honor of my holy forefathers, of blessed memory, as I am in great need...’"

He concludes with abundant blessings: "... May the grace of God rest upon you and all those associated with you, so that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied...’"

The Rabbi signs his name beneath the name of his illustrious father-in-law: "Chaim Meir Yechiel Horowitz... son-in-law of the holy genius, Av Beit Din of Sighet, author of the sefer Kedushat Yom Tov."
