Heathfield & Co, designed in the manner of a miniature architectural column - Heathfield & Co, designed in the manner of a miniature architectural column. The lamp is finished in polished nickel, giving it a sleek, mirror-like surface that reflects light and elevates the surrounding décor. The base is stepped and square, with fluted detailing and a circular medallion motif, while the column rises vertically in a smooth cylindrical shaft. At the top of the column, the lamp features a stylized capital — the transitional element between the shaft and the lampshade mount. While not a literal Corinthian or Ionic form, the capital is architecturally inspired, with subtle ridging and a squared abacus that references classical entablature. 78cm (Loc 431)
