Vitrine Poder — Louis XVI Style - Vitrine Poder — Louis XVI Style The Vitrine Poder is a distinguished Louis XVI style two tier cabinet that exemplifies the geometric discipline and refined ornamentation of late eighteenth century French Neoclassicism. Handcrafted from solid cherrywood, the upper section features glass shelving and side panels for clear display, while the lower cabinet showcases exceptional marquetry: diamond point parquetry framing a large oval medallion with a floral lily inlay rendered in contrasting precious woods. Rope twist ebony and boxwood stringing highlights the precision of the joinery, and a full width drawer with circular brass pull rings provides additional storage. Supported by tapered, fluted legs capped with polished brass ferrules, the cabinet measures 191 × 95 × 48 cm and balances architectural rigour with decorative artistry. [Loc FR787]
