End of Bed Bench ”Georges Jacob” (Transition Style) - End of Bed Bench ”Georges Jacob” (Transition Style), Ateliers Allot Transition style bench inspired by the work of Georges Jacob, constructed with a solid beechwood frame. The rectilinear seat rail is carved with geometric bands, beading, and rosettes on the corner blocks. The bench is supported by six straight, tapered legs with vertical fluting characteristic of early Louis XVI design. Upholstered using traditional methods with leaf fibre trimming over helical springs and finished in a striped floral fabric. Contemporary production by Ateliers Allot, a French manufacturer established in 1812 and holder of the EPV label, integrating cabinetmaking, upholstery, woodcarving, and associated trades.
