End of Bed Bench (Transition Style) - End of Bed Bench (Transition Style), Ateliers Allot Transition style six legged bench inspired by designs attributed to Georges Jacob. Constructed in solid beechwood with a copper leaf lacquer finish, the rectilinear seat rail is carved with bead and reel moulding. The six straight, tapered legs feature classical Neoclassical elements including rosette carved blocks, vertical fluting, and acanthus motifs. Upholstered using traditional methods with leaf fibre trimming over helical springs and finished in Lampas fabric. Contemporary production by Ateliers Allot, a French manufacturer established in 1812 and holder of the EPV label, integrating cabinetmaking, upholstery, woodcarving, gilding, and associated trades.
