End of Bed Bench (Transition Style) - End of Bed Bench (Transition Style), Ateliers Allot Transition style four legged bench inspired by designs attributed to Georges Jacob. Constructed in solid beechwood with a warm stained finish, the frame has a largely rectilinear apron with fine moulding, while the cabriole legs retain strong Rococo influence with foliate carving and scrolling details at the knees and feet. Upholstered using traditional methods with leaf fibre trimming over helical springs and finished in neutral Vanity fabric by Rubelli. Contemporary production by Ateliers Allot, a French manufacturer established in 1812 and holder of the EPV label, integrating cabinetmaking, upholstery, woodcarving, and associated trades.
