Armchair ”Amand” (Louis XIV Style) - Armchair ”Amand” (Louis XIV Style), Ateliers Allot Louis XIV style armchair known as the ”Amand” model, constructed with a solid wooden frame finished in copper leaf. The design reflects early Baroque forms with deep acanthus carving, curved legs, and a substantial X shaped stretcher with central rosette and foliate detail. The seat and back are caned, hand threaded through the frame. Contemporary production by Ateliers Allot, a French manufacturer established in 1812 and holder of the EPV label, integrating cabinetmaking, caning, water gilding, and associated trades.
