Day Bed ”Jeanselme” (Empire Style) - Day Bed ”Jeanselme” (Empire Style), Ateliers Allot Empire style day bed known as the ”Jeanselme” model, constructed in solid beechwood. The asymmetrical méridienne form features a curved backrest and headboards terminating in outward scrolling volutes inspired by classical klismos profiles. The frame stands on four short foliate carved feet. Upholstered using traditional methods with leaf fibre trimming over helical springs and finished in deep teal mohair velvet, supplied with a matching cylindrical bolster. Contemporary production by Ateliers Allot, a French manufacturer established in 1812 and holder of the EPV label, integrating cabinetmaking, upholstery, woodcarving, and associated trades.
