Easy Chair ”Nogaret” (Louis XV Style) - Easy Chair ”Nogaret” (Louis XV Style), Ateliers Allot Carved beechwood frame with upholstered seat; France Louis XV style easy chair known as the ”Nogaret” model, constructed in solid beechwood with carved naturalistic detail. The frame features a serpentine apron with a central cartouche, moulded armrest consoles, a scalloped top rail, and cabriole legs terminating in scrolled feet. Upholstered using traditional methods with leaf fibre trimming over helical springs and finished in embossed floral velvet. Contemporary production by Ateliers Allot, a French manufacturer established in 1812 and holder of the EPV label, integrating cabinetmaking, upholstery, woodcarving, and associated trades. [LOC 765]
