Chair ”Avisse” (Louis XV Style) - Chair ”Avisse” (Louis XV Style), Ateliers Allot Carved beechwood frame with upholstered seat; France Louis XV style chair known as the ”Avisse” model, constructed in solid beechwood. The cabriolet backrest has a moulded frame with carved floral cresting, and the serpentine apron features a central bouquet motif typical of Rococo design. The chair stands on four slender cabriole legs with foliate carving at the knees and scrolled feet. Upholstered using traditional methods with a steel sprung seat and hand stitched leaf fibre padding, finished in a gold floral damask and outlined with brass nailhead trim.
