Chaise à Coiffer (Louis XV Style) - Chaise à Coiffer (Louis XV Style), Ateliers Allot Carved beechwood frame with upholstered seat; France Louis XV style chaise à coiffer constructed in solid beechwood, featuring a medallion backrest with a moulded rim and carved floral cresting. The serpentine seat rail incorporates fleurette motifs, and the chair stands on four slender cabriole legs with botanical carving at the knees and scrolled volute feet. Finished in a warm timber patina. Upholstered using traditional methods with a sprung seat and hand stitched padding, covered in Atlas fabric by Métaphore in crimson. Contemporary production by Ateliers Allot, a French manufacturer established in 1812 and holder of the EPV label, integrating cabinetmaking, upholstery, woodcarving, and associated trades.
