All lots are sold as seen, with all faults, imperfections etc. Buyers must satisfy themselves as to the condition, authenticity, age, origin, quality and suitability of each lot before bidding. A buyer’s premium of 15% plus VAT applies to online purchases. Payment is required by close of business, 5:00pm on the Monday following the timed sale. Purchased items must be collected on in the days after the timed auction during standard collection hours of 10:00am–5:00pm, Latest the Wednesday Following the Auction or storage fees will occur unless otherwise agreed with QC Auctions. Before we get underway, just a few important reminders for all successful bidders. All purchases must be paid for in full within two working days of the conclusion of the auction. If you are intending to pay when you collect, your collection must also take place within that same two-working-day period. All purchased lots must also be collected within two working days, unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed with us in advance. Our standard collection hours are 10am until 5pm. Items remaining with us beyond the collection deadline may be subject to storage charges of £5 per item, per day, plus VAT where applicable. If you think you may have difficulty collecting in time, please speak to us as soon as possible and we will always try to work with you where we can. Please remember that all lots are sold as seen. Catalogue descriptions, photographs, estimates and condition reports are provided as guidance, and we encourage bidders to satisfy themselves regarding the condition, authenticity, completeness and suitability of any lot before bidding. All bids are binding once accepted, whether you are bidding here in the room, online, by telephone or through an absentee bid. The highest accepted bidder becomes the buyer.
