A pair of contemporary Chinese paintings on silk, executed in the gongbi (fine line) technique and depicting traditional huaniao (bird and flower) subjects. Both artworks are presented in matching gilt-accented wooden frames with layered green and gold mounts. The reverse of the horizontal frame retains a label for a Carlisle-based picture framer.
