A trio of nesting tables of rectangular form, constructed from wood with a black lacquered finish. Each table is decorated with hand-painted gilt and polychrome pictorial vignettes. The top of the largest table depicts two birds perched on flowering branches. The smallest table shows a single bird on the ground looking up at a stylized blossom.
