Bidspirit auction | A mid-20th-century cylindrical brass vessel

A mid-20th-century cylindrical brass vessel of slightly tapered form, manufactured by Peerage, a brand of the Birmingham-based company Pearson-Page Ltd. The body is decorated with an embossed neoclassical-style frieze featuring draped swags and ribbon bows, bordered by twin beaded bands. The underside of the base is incised with the maker's mark PEERAGE MADE IN ENGLAND.
