A set of metric precision balance scale weights, typically utilised in apothecary or laboratory environments. The set comprises nine brass knob weights and a collection of flat milligram foil weights. The brass knob weights are stamped with their denominations, including 100g, 50, 20, 20, and 10. The milligram foil weights are contained within a central recessed compartment and include stamps for 500 mg, 200 mg, and 100 mg. A pair of steel tweezers is included for the precise handling of the milligram increments. The collection is housed in a rectangular fitted wooden case, possibly constructed from fruitwood or mahogany, featuring circular cutouts in the lid to secure the weights when closed.
