A circular religious pendant produced by the French jewellery firm FIX. The obverse features a high-relief depiction of Saint Christopher carrying the Christ Child across water. The reverse depicts the Holy Family, with Jesus Christ standing centrally holding a long cross-staff, flanked by the profile busts of the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph. The reverse carries the circumscribed inscription JESVS MARIE ET JOSEPH. The suspension bale bears the stamped maker mark FIX, identifying it as a high-quality gold-plated item by Savard and Fils. The medal is fashioned from a patinated base metal with a thick gold overlay.
