A collection of nine fine English porcelain collector plates from the Great Racehorses series, produced by Royal Worcester for the Danbury Mint. Each plate features collage-style equestrian artwork by artist Mervyn Buckley, depicting iconic Thoroughbred horses from both flat racing and National Hunt history. The horses represented in this collection are Desert Orchid, Red Rum, Arkle, Nijinsky, Mill Reef, Aldaniti, Crisp, L'Escargot, and The Minstrel. Certificates included.
