A collection of commemorative First Day Covers (FDCs) produced by Mercury of Watford. The group comprises two distinct sets of Royal Mail commemorative issues. The first set, issued in 2003, commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The second set, issued in 2006, celebrates the 80th Birthday of Queen Elizabeth II and includes covers featuring large-scale monochrome photographic portraits of the Queen at various ages.
