A trio of vintage metal whistles manufactured by J. Hudson and Co. (Acme) of Birmingham, England. The first whistle is stamped with the markings THE ACME CITY MADE IN ENGLAND. The second whistle is stamped THE ACME CITY WHISTLE ENGLAND. The third and smallest whistle is marked THE ACME SCOUT MADE IN ENGLAND. These whistles were traditionally utilised by police officers, sports officials, and the Boy Scouts Association during the early to mid-20th century.
