A Byzantine copper-alloy Anonymous Follis, Class I, dating from the reign of Emperor Alexius I Comnenus (ca. 1081-1118 AD). The obverse is heavily worn and nearly smooth, showing only faint remnants of what was originally a facing bust of Christ. The reverse features a central cross with pellets or floral ornaments at the ends of the arms, dividing the field into four quadrants.
