Two Beswick glazed ceramic dog figurines, comprising a large Irish Setter and a smaller Border Collie. The Irish Setter is modeled as the champion dog Sugar of Wendover, finished in a rich mahogany gloss glaze. The underside of the belly bears a circular black stamp reading CH SUGAR OF WENDOVER. The second figurine is a standing Border Collie, finished in a black and white gloss glaze. It bears a gold-tone printed mark to the underbelly reading BESWICK ENGLAND. A/f.
