Elof Wedin "Waterfront Sweden" Oil Painting 1961
Elof Wedin (Swedish/American, 1901-1983). Oil on canvas painting titled "Waterfront Sweden, " depicting an abstract composition in yellow and black with pops of bright orange and blue, 1961. Signed and dated along the lower right.
Provenance: Distinguished Corporate Collection, Minnesota.
Unframed; height: 50 in x width: 41 3/4 in. Framed; height: 51 1/4 in x width: 43 1/2 in.
Condition: The painting is in good condition with no visible tears, creases, or rips. When inspected under UV light, there is no visible sign of restoration. Along the extreme edges, there is a paint loss against the frame. Along the recto, there are a few areas with paint accretion. Clean verso. Wear to the frame.
