3 Chinese 20th c. Porcelain Objects - Plates & Cup
Group of three 20th century Chinese porcelain objects. One famille rose medallion charger painted with auspicious symbols, flowers, and butterflies; marked "Made in China" along the underside. One mille fleur porcelain plate profusely painted with flowers; with an apocryphal four-character Qianlong mark along the underside. One famille verte small cup painted with scenes of figures in a landscape; with an apocryphal Chenghua mark along the underside.
Height ranges from 1 3/4 in to 2 3/4 in; diameter ranges from 4 in to 14 1/2 in.
Condition: The larger charger has no obvious chips, cracks or losses. Light wear throughout as expected from age and use. Minute firing flaws throughout. No visible signs of restoration under UV light. The smaller charger has no visible chips or losses, but there is a large crack through the center. There is restoration work where the crack meets the rim. Light wear throughout as expected from age and use. The cup has no obvious chips, cracks or losses.
