Tsuchiya Koitsu "Evening at Ushigome" Woodblock
Tsuchiya Koitsu (Japanese, 1870-1949). Japanese shin-hanga woodblock print titled "Jinrakuzaka at Ushigome" depicting a city street at night, 1939. Seal in print along the lower right.
Height: 17 in x width: 11 1/4 in.
Condition: There are no major tears, creases, or losses. The sheet is lightly toned. There is very faint foxing throughout the margins. There is a minute dark spot in the margin of lower right corner, possibly ink transfer. There are no signs of restoration under UV light. Not framed.
