Nicholas R. Brewer (American, 1857-1949). Oil on canvas seascape painting. Depicting a rocky seashore with a boat in the distant water. Signed along the lower right.
Sight; height: 11 1/2 in x width: 14 3/4 in. Framed; height: 13 3/4 in x width: 17 in x depth: 1 1/4 in.
Condition: The colors are bold and deep. There are no major losses. Signs of craquelure along the upper third and lower third of the work, where the painted impasto texture is applied most thickly. Some wear along the upper edge. The canvas has been relined. Housed within a wooden frame, not under glass.
