Carved Bone Surma dani (kohl container), South Asia ( Age not sure ), Indian - Carved Bone surma dani (kohl container) with a detachable applicator. The container is fashioned in the form of a stylized female figure, with incised facial features, breasts, and body details rendered in simple linear carving. The natural grain lines visible across the surface are characteristic of aged Bone, while the accompanying slender applicator stick would traditionally be used to apply Surma (Kohl) to the eyes.
