Historic 1700s Marble Fragment, Carved Arches & Painted Images of Guru Nanak & Guru Angad, Lahore, Indian. - This 1700s artifact is an old rectangular marble fragment intricately carved with lobed arches, within which are delicately painted portraits of Guru Nanak (1469–1539), the founder of Sikhism, and Guru Angad (1504–1552), the second Sikh Guru. The painted figures reflect a devotional artistic tradition, combining sculpture and painting to honor Sikh spiritual lineage.
