A Pair of Dora Designs Weighted Animal Doorstops Comprising Lionel Armstrong Frog and a Tortoise - This lot consists of two decorative weighted doorstops manufactured by Dora Designs. The first item is the Lionel Armstrong frog doorstop, depicted in a seated anthropomorphic pose. It is constructed from a green wool-effect felted fabric with lighter green fabric for the hands and feet. The figure features large amber-coloured plastic or glass eyes and is dressed in a yellow checkered waistcoat secured by two yellow plastic buttons. The second item is a tortoise doorstop in a seated position. It is crafted from an ochre-coloured suedette-style fabric with a shell made from a contrasting dark patterned brocade fabric. A corded tassel is tied around the neck. Both items carry the woven manufacturer's label for dora DESIGNS. The tortoise includes an additional tag marked Doorstop and a white fabric care label stating Warning: This is not a Toy.
