Bidspirit auction | A Pair of Connubia Academy
A Pair of Connubia Academy Translucent Amber Polycarbonate Dining Chairs with Different Bases - A pair of contemporary dining chairs manufactured by Connubia, a division of the Calligaris Group. Both chairs feature the Academy model shell, constructed from a single piece of moulded translucent polycarbonate in an amber-orange tint. The shells are designed with a rounded backrest and a contoured seat. The lot includes two different base configurations: one chair is mounted on a black-finished frame with a central cross-brace, and the second chair is supported by a grey-finished tubular metal frame. The shells are attached to the bases with four visible mounting points. Each shell is embossed on the lower rear with the maker's mark connubia and a triangular recycling symbol.
