The field is composed of a grid of individual rectangular compartments, each containing various botanical and classical motifs including cypresses, weeping willows, flowering trees, and botteh symbols. The colour palette includes muted sage greens, ivory, and taupe tones within the central field. The main border is set against a salmon ground and decorated with scrolling floral arabesques and large palmettes, enclosed by multiple minor guard borders with geometric and floral patterning.
