Set of Tanach Mikraos Gedolos – complete in three volumes, printed in Basel in 1618-1619.
This edition was well received as it was printed with a high standard and includes all major commentaries on the Tanach, such as: Rashi, Targum Onkelos, Targum Yerushalmi, Ba'al HaTurim, Radak, Ralbag, Ibn Ezra and Mesorah. The publisher also corrected many printing errors of the previous Bomberg editions. As such, this edition is particularly well-known for its accuracy.
This copy includes the Haftorahs section which is exceedingly rare, and is lacking in almost all copies.
An impressive copy, edges tinted with original black paint. Printed on white paper, which is uncommon for this Basel edition. Printed with 5 separate title pages for each section: Torah, Nevi'im Rishonim, Nevi'im Acharonim, Kesuvim, and Chomesh Megillos. With original blanks.
