John Bulls Money Box Iron Bank
Sydenham & McOustra. Staffordshire, England - 1909. John Bull was originated as a satirical character by John Arbuthnot in 1712. John Bull is the personification of England, similar to the American "Uncle Sam". These banks are quite rare and usually come in very poor condition. This one is better than most, however, the original John Bull figure is about 60% repainted. Everything else is all original.
